Afternoon Tea At Tsui Wah. Got The Instant Noodles With Chicken Wings In Supreme Sauce And French Toast With Ovaltine Cream And Koko Krunch. The Noodles Were A Bit Too Salty For Me But The Toast Tasted Very Nice.
We have been here since the days we need to queue very long and it was a u shaped queue. There was nothing new on the menu on our return to this place. It is still the most expensive HK café and the food quality has dropped considerably. Food wise are all very heavy on salt and flavors. The only thing that is worth coming back is the crispy condensed milk bun.Honestly I prefer So Good Cha Chan Teng.
Service here are the highlight I would say, the food was decent we had:Pork chop egg fried rice - it’s was alright, nothing to rave over, pork was tender, but the fried rice lacked fragrant.Cha Siu egg fried rice - Similar egg fried rice used, the Cha Siu really lacked taste and texture here. Would recommend itPolo bun with scrambled egg and Spam - this came surprisingly tasty, the combination of those three made it work and they were very generous with the eggs as well.Drinks here are mediocre. The milk tea definitely lacked fragrance. Plus point here is drinks aren’t too sweet. Got to give them that.Overall experience is good.
The food is good but not as good as the original one in Hong Kong. The tea is strong. The coffee is just average. The dining environment here is less stressful and more pleasant though. The food portion is just nice for one person. Prices are on the high side so be prepared to spend if you visit this place.
Went with wife to tired their food, to our surprise, both the food and service is excellent. As a chef, I shall say this is an excellent hong kong style food and many elders will love it.-Pork chop fried rice is very delicious, pork chop is tender and juicy. Not hard at all.-The beef brisket edd noodle which is also their satay noodle, super soft beef, soup is very flavourful and noodles is just nice.-kang kong and beancurd is also tasty, the beancurd sauce is enough and not over powering.-signature coffee, I'm a coffee lover and I love their signature coffee which has a nice roasted smell.-yuan yang is ok for me, I prefer their signature coffee.-polo bun with butter is my wife's favorite,-egg tart outer layer is crispy and not dry, inner is not too sweet and I love it.Their service is very polite and helpful, service is also quite fast. Every table has a drawer with every utensils, toothpick and paper towel.Have to bring my parents here and try it.
