Chao Fan Singapore Review

We had the Premium Seafood, Fresh Prawn, and Duo Fish ‘Pao Fan’, complemented by the addition of savoury fried egg floss. The soup is rich but not overpowering and there’s a pleasant natural sweetness. It’s a perfect comforting food for me especially in this rainy weather! To elevate the experience, I’ve added a side dish with crispy elements - Fried Fish Skin! The perfect add on for a satisfying crunch to balance the tender rice and flavorful broth.

Comforting meal, affordable and delicious. The soup was so good, flavourful with fresh ingredients. Top-up $4 for crispy fish skin and drink. The service crews was friendly and helpful.

The Pao Fan was pretty alright. I went there at 1140am and there was a queue already. Thankfully the sky turned dark. Otherwise where i seated will have the sun baking me 🤣 I had the $12.90 prawn plus fish.

Nice pao fan option in the neighbourhood. In terms of quality, is quite similar to the pao fan to China square but focus only on seafood. Don’t forget to add some chilli and green onions that’s self served. While the food itself is good, the queue here moves incredibly and unreasonably slow. Limited seating but most people da bao.

Service a bit slow as only one person was cooking. The soup broth was tasty, fish slices were fresh but personally disliked the fried fish as the batter tasted a bit bitter to me.Still the preferred pao fan in the vicinity though relatively more pricey!
