Went for 10-course Wagyu Omakase dinner with sake pairing. We were served with hot tea upon sitting down. The portions were reasonable with each course. They may seemed little at the beginning but by the time i hit the 7th course, i felt so stuffed and jelak that i had to slooooooow down 😉 There were a lot of thoughtfulness in the food as they were mostly beautiful and delicious by combining flavours of different ingredients and colours. I enjoyed the food and experience. Sake was really generous with the different courses and i was upset with myself that i could not stomach any more alcohol later in the later part of the dinner. Service was super great, we felt taken care of by the beautiful servers and the talented chef. I had such a great time catching up with my friend in such an environment. We left happy with stuffed stomach and a gift from Fat Cow each.
Pros: Amazing service by the waiting staff.Cons: Food was sub-par for the price, doesn't feel any special at all.We got the beef donburi and yakiniku don set.The steak was cooked right, however it had a bitter aftertaste somehow. The yakiniku, had no char at all, is just beef shabu slice with yakiniku sauce. Rice for both dishes were good. The best thing I had there was actually the honey soy miso glazed eggplant, amazing taste.Maybe need to come here for the omakase experience made by the chef. If not the normal dishes made by the staff were pretty normal and a little pricey.
We had the Wagyu Omakase which was amazing and a multi-sensory dining experience (from what you see, to what you smell, to what you feel and what you taste). The portion was good and menu was very well thought out and designed. The palate cleanser came at the perfect time to reinvigorate our appetite as our tummies were happily filled by the 6th dish.Almost every dishes had its own complexity, unique layers and different taste profile that came together perfectly. Personal favorites would be the matsusaka sukiyaki and kagoshima hand roll. Matsusaka Sukiyaki was tender, creamy and flavorful.Ambience was nice, service staff was very attentive and even changed out our hot green tea to a new cup when it was cold without us asking.Shoutout to Chef Lai and Staff Agnes for the wonderful experience, would definitely be back as Fat Cow now hold a special place in me and my fiancée heart (and tummy).
Chef Desmond's culinary prowess truly amazed us! The delectable dishes he crafted left our taste buds in awe, and his warm, friendly demeanor added an extra layer of enjoyment to our dining experience. We eagerly anticipate savoring his creations every time we visit.Chef Desmond has undoubtedly become the highlight of our meals here!Sonia, the attentive waitress, further enhances the dining experience!
Absolutely incredible and delicious experience served in a way that was absolutely immaculate. Thoughtful and generally in pleasing to all of the senses. This place serves as one of the cornerstones of high-end dining in Singapore's international style meat industry. I would recommend this experience for people who are celebrating a special occasion, for foodies who believe in the pleasure of experiencing luxury despite cost. I would also recommend this for people who are traveling and would like to get a taste of Japanese cuisine served with high attention to detail.
