Came for dinner on a Monday! The staff were really really friendly! Thank you so much! Me and my friend enjoyed our food a lot and the ambience was perfect for small talk after our meal! Thank you once again for having us 🙂
The flavours were pretty on point and the noodles tasted good too. The chicken wings were also nicely done - tasty and crunchy exterior and noticeably more meaty (compared with a certain more famous competitor 😁; in fact my wife prefers this version). Overall it certainly exceeded my expectations.
This Korean place is ok. Went in before 11am for lunch. The chicken bibimbap is served on a sizzling hotpot. There is a lunch set with a drink (such as iced red tea, iced lemon tea) and some side dishes. The food is ok. The price is ~S$15. Service is still good when we arrived.
Have patronized them a few times. Their chicken wings has been consistently good, crispy and juicy inside, and not oily. The kimchi jjigae is very comforting, not too spicy, slightly sweet with 2 big mandu. The staffs are friendly and service is on point. Well done
The boneless chicken is good. The chicken bibibap was very disappointing, it took a long time to arrive, and the stone dish bowl was mostly filled with soft rice, each ingredient was only 1 tablespoon worth (one mouthful).
3/10/23Update ⭐️I changed the number of stars for service, food and atmosphere to five stars today! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️!Today the staff were so much friendlier . . Ordered their chicken ramen set meal and it was different today. The chicken was fresh and crispy. Niceeeeeeee 👍 👍 they explained that their chicken are fresh…and not frozen already ♥️Their ramens have always our favourite ❤️ so still 👍Just that maybe coz of the staff , the atmosphere feels different . Overall it was enjoyable dinning here today ! Hope their standard maintains and more people will come enjoy their food 😊Update ⭐Non spicy cheese ramen is back! And better than before. Their spicy ramen 🍜 is also 👍.But it will be much better if they serve side dish like last time butThey said it's only for lunch 😢Ramen taste better than before , but they do not have cheese ramen ( the staff mentioned it has been a while since they stop serving it) . Ask for less spicy for my boy.Fried chicken ( garlic soy ) . Not as wow as the last time I went . Maybe the seasoning was enough .. hmmm or Probably because we had ramen first so not so hungry and it's cold already. Will come back again.Wondering if there is a change of owner.
I visited this Korean Fast food @ PLQ Branch on dated 18/6/23. The crew were professional about it and served me timely. They did a great job upon my requests. I will love to come back again!
Good to get a seat during the festive no queue but the food is not up to standard (black bean noodles, seafood pancake and clay bowl chicken mixed rice). The nicest food on the table was the ginseng chicken soup and pear drink. The bean noodles is like from canned sauce, seafood pancake was tough and not Flavourful, mushy and clumpy and the clay rice was super mushy. Nope I won’t visit again, but I have to thank the awesome service staff, they were kind, patient, and always a smile on the face. Lovely service! Thank you!
Bumped into this place when we were wondering around for a quick meal for lunch. Was craving for Korean food so this place was perfect. I think their signature dish is the fried chicken as most tables order that. However, my husband and I tried their set lunch instead. The kimchi soup has the right spiciness and they were generous with ingredients. But for the ramen noodles, it was underwhelming unfortunately. Go for the rice or chicken meals in future. Nothing to shout about their side dishes.
The waiter that served us was really friendly. The cheese fries were good in both taste and portion. We were there quite late, so the place was quiet but not awkward with kpop music in thr background.
The army stew was so bland and watery the meat they gave was so small and little. The enoki mushrooms too and other ingredients. The food was so unappetising I am so disappointed the only azing thing wad the can of sprite which adds to the cherry on top of all my disappointments. I don't recommend this place at all.❌️❌️
1st visit. Order the whole chicken (half spicy half soy garlic) and a DIY rice ball set (kimchi). The chicken tasted fresh and tender, spicy and soy garlic sauces are both delicious. The kimchi rice ball set comes with luncheon meat, kimchi, sliced radishes etc for you to DIY your rice balls. Ordered 3 drinks too. Staff are friendly. Overall good experience
The food was nice as the chicken was crispy on the outside and soft and tender in the inside. Service staff was attentive and friendly especially Winnie. Winnie kept checking on us and ensure our needs were met. Thank you!
Even though their chicken is on the front page. We thoroughly enjoyed their Rabokki. Simple, spicy, and tasty. Served on a plate, the presentation looked amazing and we would definitely come back for more.
I had an absolutely delightful experience at Bonchon PLQ! The vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff immediately made me feel welcomed. The menu offered a wide variety of delicious Korean fried chicken options, and I was impressed by the flavors and quality of the dishes. The highlight was, without a doubt, their signature crispy and flavorful fried chicken. Each bite was a perfect balance of crunchy exterior and tender meat, complemented by their mouthwatering sauces. Not to mention, the sides and appetizers were equally impressive, adding to the overall dining pleasure.I highly recommend Bonchon PLQ to anyone craving a delightful and authentic Korean fried chicken experience. I can’t wait to visit again soon!
Dropped in for dinner on a Friday evening at 730pm and it had a queue. Was a quick wait and we sat down about 5 minutes after.First off, the service was kinda slow to get our order because they only had 2 ground staff, but once ordered…omg the food came so fast!!Ordered the beef stew and boneless chicken half and half sauce (spicy and soy garlic).Boneless chicken was nice and crispy, sauce was kinda salty but bearable. My beef stew was sweet with a good amount of ingredients. As it’s an open space, noise levels weren’t so bad, and seating space was adequate.Overall, was an okay experience. Nothing jumped out for me when it comes to wow factors, but definitely a pleasant enough eatery to dine at.😇
Quite spacious, can find seats for group of 10 even on a Friday lunch.Food is standard Korean fare, bibimbap, ramyeon ok. Pancake and fried chicken, fried luncheon fries not bad.Servers forgot to bring the side dishes but was prompt when reminded.Overall not bad.
