Small place, with limited options but very well done. At midday they have a set menu for S$17 plus service and taxes, with 4 dumplings (gyozas), a bowl of noodles with the option you choose and a soft drink of your choice. All very good and quickly served. It is worth the visit.
Super good dumplings and noddles place! Highly recommend the set lunch as it’s a good value for money! However, do take note the place is really small and cramped, not the kind of place to have a lunch with long conversations. Do make sure to make a reservation a few days in advance as well.
It was my second time here. Didn't take any photos but these are my thoughts:Food: 3 out of 5 stars. The taste of the noodles and dumplings were nothing extraordinary but the portions were good for the price. Left the place with a full stomach. Definitely worth the price!Service: 5 out of 5 stars. The service was excellent, from my afternoon walk-in to make reservation for dinner, to me calling in to inform the restaurant that I'll be 15 minutes late, to the staff helping me to charge my phone (battery was running out), to their prompt serving of food (took only about 8 minutes for the food to arrive on my table), the service was impeccable. Keep it up!Atmosphere: 3 out of 5 stars. Perhaps due to the lack of space indoors, many of the waiters were standing beside the bar area, facing my friend and I while we were eating. While they weren't looking at us eating, it's a bit awkward to have people facing my direction while I eat. Perhaps they can spread out a bit, with a few at the door or even outside. Not their fault but definitely something they should take note!Overall a pleasant experience, the duty manager, a middle-aged Chinese man, was very friendly and professional. Will recommend to everyone!
This cute place was a random choice one night and it was really a great experience! We had to wait for a while, like 20 mins to get a table because it was very packed and we didn’t have a reservation but in the end we got the table and service was very nice! Staff is nice and attentive, food is delicious! We tried noodles which were very good and then I had vegetarian gyozas (there are two types), one of the two after a few gyozas is a bit nauseating as it has cinnamon in it but the taste is very nice and peculiar! You can tell that the gyoza dough is made fresh by them! They have also nice cocktails (very pricey, 20 dollars) and very delicious artigianal beers (for 8 dollars), very recommended!
Update 2/1/2024: Thanks Kai for taking the initiative to reach out and provided us with priority booking. We revisited the restaurant on 2 Jan 24. One of us was a vegetarian and thankfully some of the items on the menu were suitable. The noodle were springy and flavourful. There was also a variety of interesting dumpling flavours for us to choose from.I called in to make a reservation as our group had >5pax. I was not informed that they are not open on Monday and the staff even helped me make a reservation. I even received the message to make a confirmation on that day itself. I went down and the outlet was not open. Very disappointed in the service. The staff should have inform me that they are not open on Monday and reservation should not be allowed.
Came here for dinner on a friday night. There were long queues even after 8pm that the staff had to nicely chase us after we finished eating. So I'd say it's not the best place to sit and catch up with your friends over dinner & drinks.Have to try their dumplings! They sell their dumplings separate from their noodles. Cold brew tea was nice too.
Deserving of its cult following for its delicious variety of dumplings, well-seasoned bouncy noodles, flavourful appetisers, and range of beverages to pair with the meal.Although the seating arrangements are quite tight due to limited space, the ambience and good service makes the dining experience better. Price point is reasonable and worth returning to try other interesting menu items.
The food here is pretty good and would recommend to try the dumpling party platter at least once. All in all a good experience but I liked the noodles more than the dumplings surprisingly. The shredded pork noodles were very tasty and a good mix of meat to noodle ratio. I also ordered the sichuan pork noodles which were a little spicy but still good. Each meal was priced reasonably and quite affordable (around $8 per bowl). I would come here again for sure, although a little packed and have to reserve a table beforehand.
Absolutely loved the food here, dumplings are out of this world! 🥟💥If you can handle spicy, do try the Sichuan spicy ones. Noodles are pretty tasty too, I went for the braised pork noodles. For drinks I had the wolfberry puerh one, which was very refreshing and unique. This place is a must try for their dumplings, do book your table in advance as this place is very popular!
amazinnnggg food is definitely an understatement. the noodles and dumplings are cooked to perfection. so savoury! 🥟 they had a great lunch set at $17, and it was super worth it. i got the xo prawn noodles with the original dumplings. just wish the prawns came peeled, it was quite troublesome to peel with chopsticks and a ceramic spoon.the ambience is really nice, dim and cozy. can get a little loud when there are a lot of people in the compact space. overall, highly recommended if you’re in the area!
